Every Thursday at 6:00 pm, a group of Vandy students leave the Vanderbilt bubble and head to the Nolensville area of Nashville, where we have the opportunity to work with the truly incredible people at Workers’ Dignity.
We believe in dignity for all, and we are putting that belief into action by supporting Worker’s Dignity, a nonprofit organization that empowers low-wage workers to recover stolen wages and achieve economic justice.
We know that the problems faced by low-wage workers, such as wage theft and unsafe working conditions, are systemic in nature and need systemic solutions: that’s why we support Workers’ Dignity.
Worker’s Dignity promotes leadership in its members, those affected by injustice in the workplace. They lead this organization: we as allies are just here to support and promote their work.
But we need your support to continue to this vital work of improving working conditions and wages in our community. Any support you could provide would be so appreciated.
Thank you so much, and know that your contribution will help improve the lives of many members of our community.
