Organize the South: Donate to Workers' Dignity / MCRU
The renowned African-American sociologist W.E.B. Du Bois once said, “As the South goes, so goes the nation.” After 14 years in Nashville, I became convinced that this is so. Just as I believe that those who are most directly impacted by injustice in our country must be ones to lead our movement, we must also invest in the spaces where so many of the roots of oppression in this country began and continue to persist. November 8th's election results can only remind us how justice in the US South is critical to bring justice through this land. We can do this but supporting powerful racial justice organizations in the South who do this work every day. Thank you for making a donation to this campaign. - Matt Leber
